Where do you perform your surgeries?
I prefer to operate in high-standard hospitals with strong infrastructure, intensive care support, JCI accreditation, and international-level safety standards. At the moment, I perform surgeries at Yeditepe University Hospital. Depending on legal contracting processes for private office-based physicians, the operating hospital may occasionally vary over time, but these hospitals are of similar standard and quality.
Is WhatsApp-based preliminary assessment possible?
Yes. Preliminary assessment through WhatsApp is possible. However, findings from in-person examination may differ from photo- or video-based evaluation, and the treatment plan may change accordingly.
Is online consultation available?
Yes, especially for out-of-town and international patients. Online consultation is mainly useful for preliminary evaluation and planning. Final surgical decisions may become clearer after an in-person examination.
How does the process work for international patients?
The process usually begins with WhatsApp communication and photo review. If necessary, a video consultation can be arranged. Once a preliminary plan is made, my team helps organize scheduling and the treatment timeline.
I usually see the patient in person one day before surgery for final examination and planning. The patient is re-evaluated again on the day of surgery. After surgery, depending on the extent of the procedure, dedicated nursing support may be arranged. Follow-up visits are then carried out regularly by me or by experienced members of my team.
After returning home, patients continue their follow-up through our WhatsApp aftercare line.
How long should international patients stay in Istanbul?
This depends on the procedure.
In general:
- smaller procedures may require 3–4 days
- facial rejuvenation procedures usually require 8–14 days
- larger microsurgical procedures may require 3–6 weeks
The recommended stay is finalized individually according to the surgical plan.
Where do most of your patients come from, and is English-speaking support available?
A significant portion of my international patients come from the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and other English-speaking countries.
Both I and the members of my team who actively communicate with patients are able to provide support in English. If needed, interpreter support may also be arranged for selected non-English-speaking patients.
Do you recommend surgery to every patient?
No. I do not recommend surgery to every patient. In some cases surgery is the most appropriate option, while in others a more limited procedure, a non-surgical treatment, or simple follow-up may be more appropriate. My approach is to recommend the right treatment for the right patient.
Where can I find more detailed information?
For more FAQs and procedure-specific details, please visit the relevant sections of my website. Each main section includes additional frequently asked questions and more detailed explanations related to that specific procedure or surgery.
How can patients contact your office?
Initial communication and preliminary assessment are mainly handled through our WhatsApp lines. Separate contact channels are available for Turkish patients and international patients in order to keep the process more organized and efficient.
